Dear Third Grade Families,
Welcome to third grade! I can hardly wait to meet all your new faces in September! I hope you are gearing up to enjoy your summer. I plan to do some exciting professional development, as well as go on some adventures around New England. I have a few books on my summer reading list, and I hope you have a few in mind to read this summer as well. For those of you who don’t know me yet, I live here in Arlington and have three children: Aidan is 20, Daisy will be a senior at Arlington High, and William is starting fifth grade at the Bishop School. I love to read, write, run, do yoga, hike, kayak and be with my big scruffy dog Enzo, and tiny dog, Doug. I can’t wait to learn about all the ways you like to enjoy yourself.
I’m looking forward to spending time in the classroom this summer getting ready for our upcoming year together!
Enjoy your vacation! I look forward to hearing about your summer adventures. We are going to have a fantastic year of learning.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Amy Lees
